Located on the southern edge of Lake George in New York State Adirondack Parks six million acres, one mile from Lake George Village and five minutes from Six Flags Great Escape, Kathys Lake George Cottages and Motel offers a quiet escape from the crowd while providing easy access to Lake Georges major attractions. Family owned and operated for 36 years, Carmen and Diane Porreca welcome new guests as old friends and have many families that come back year-after-year considering Kathys their favorite summertime hideaway.

Originally built on six heavily wooded acres by a New York Heart Surgeon as an ideal retreat for his patients to recuperate, the high elevation assures it is always comfortable and its six private chalet style cottages, nestled within graceful birches and majestic pines, provide all the modern conveniences within a relaxing, secluded atmosphere.

Kathys Cottages are scrupulously clean and smoke-free, with fully-equipped kitchens, modern baths with tub and shower, central air and heat, and cable TV with HBO, some with DVD and VCR. There are picnic tables and gas grills in front of each cottage. Linens are provided and can be changed as needed.

Housekeeping units all have fully equipped kitchens, modern bath with large showers, AC, cable TV with HBO. Motel Room and housekeeping units are serviced daily. There is a large picnic area with picnic tables and gas grills available.

A large, sunny, 20x40 heated pool is set away from the road, surrounded by woods. A play area includes a swing set, volleyball, ping pong, and a basketball hoop. There is also a large football size field in front of the property for all outdoor sports, and equipment is provided in the office. A larger picnic area has gas grills and tables that are ideal for family reunions or larger parties. Free Fax and Wi-Fi access on the premises assures youll only be as out of touch with the rest of the world as you want to be.
